Gesu Antonio Baez is the Executive Director and Chief Diplomatic Officer at Pax Tecum Global, a consultancy firm based in London which focuses on diplomacy in international development that serves as the official link between business, NGOs and emerging economies with international governments for sustainable development.

Prior to this, he spent years working on women’s health and rights, directing development programs, engaging with government heads and launching campaigns with UN Women and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG).

He is also the Host of The Global Podcast and is a recognised thought leader on diplomacy in international development and women’s empowerment, having spoken at the likes of TEDx, Barclay’s, Kings College London and the University of Edinburgh.

He has studied at the University of South Florida for his Triple B.A in International Relations, Italian and French, the University of York for his PGCert in Human Rights Defence, and SOAS University of London for his MSc in International Politics.

He is passionate about diplomatic dialogue and empowerment, especially when it concerns youths and Italy. As an Italian who was born and raised abroad all his life, he understands the benefit of sharing ideas which Teach for All advocates and believes in the mission of Teach for Italy to not only empower Italian youths about the value of education, but to inspire them on the potential they have in fulling a life that is their own and building a better future for Italy through their knowledge.
